'I didn't wanna miss the show': 26-year-old girlfriend forced to go to Japanese festival alone after many failed attempts to wake her boyfriend from his afternoon nap, he acts upset when discovering she left without him

Personally, there's nothing we hate more than being late. We find it extremely disrespectful and a sign of 'I don't care to keep you waiting'. We all know those people who are never on time: they take timing as more of a suggestion than anything else. There are two types of latecomers. Those who are totally unaware that time is an element of daily life and are genuinely convinced that no one notices. And then we have those who love to be late, make an entrance, those who think the party hasn't started until they've arrived, but really everyone else is just ready to go home…

We're starting to think this girl may feel the same way. After planning to go to a Japanese festival after work with her boyfriend, she is forced to go alone as he refuses to wake from his nap after many failed attempts. His girlfriend made a plan to meet up with their friends, and time is of the essence, so she goes without him…and then suddenly, the second the latch of the door closes, he decides after 5 hours it's time to wake up. However, she is no longer home. And he is mad about it…Was she meant to just sit around and wait for her boyfriend to suddenly arise from his slumber whenever he felt like it? No, she wasn't. That was a trick question.

Now here comes the question we've been avoiding: Did he just pull the ‘I’m fast asleep in the car so someone has to carry me inside' kid's card? Was this all part of a master plan to avoid going to the festival (we were all thinking it), or is he genuinely upset that his partner didn't ‘try harder’ to wake him up, and now he's going to miss the festival?
Mmmm, two very different intentions…We think we know which way we are swaying.
