"Should I jump into the truck of a complete stranger in order to save another complete strangers dog?”: The story of a tiny dog’s wild run through Denver traffic and a goofball rescuer who saved her from a lake and found a loyal adventure companion

When it comes to the rescue paradigm, dogs really do come across rather dumb, it has to be said. For in a situation where a cat would be smart and nimble enough to weave and wind their way through the pavements and back alleys to evade a would-be rescuer, the doggo from today's story led her would-be rescuer through several lanes of traffic causing traffic pile ups and then swimming through a lake that is notorious for being filled with bird excrement.

Thankfully, this did not deter the brave (or stupid) rescuer from pursuing her pup until it was safely in her arms. We would like to point out that in this case the chase most certainly paid off, but if that would hold true for all occurrences of this type, we would not be all too sure. So sit back and enjoy the story, but also take it with a pinch of salt, we would not want you to dive into an excrement filled lake now would we.

Jheez, this sounds like the opening scene to one of those Christmas movies from the 90s, where the opening scene is the chaotic chase that eventually sets the contextual tone of the movie. Showing you the city that the story is set in, setting the tone for the time of year, and introducing us to the main characters who will soon steal our hearts.

Well, this is quite the development. You would not normally expect a stranger to get involved in a doggo rescue. As hooman nature often does, we see someone handling a less than appealing situation and decide we are going to sit it out because they are dealing with it. But not this guy, this guy is different.
