Welcome, anime fans and stans. What are your plans for the weekend? For many introverts, such as myself, the weekend is a time to rest from social pressures and expectations. I finally get a short and well-deserved reprieve from having to force myself through unwanted small talk in the office when I'm literally just trying to do my job. Still, sometimes I have to push myself to do something social for my own good; it is really the only opportunity I have to see my friends. I usually try to plan the hang out for Friday so that I have at least one full day to recover from people.
Every introvert has their own way of dealing with a social battery that's run out of juice. The healthier ones like to go on long, solitary walks in nature to convene with the trees or hit the gym with music blasting in oversized headphones. I personally like putting on my favorite podcast and playing endless hours of Animal Crossing. If not that, then you'll catch me bingeing Hunter x Hunter, my number one comfort anime.
