She either really loves dogs or she got roped into this without realizing what she was getting into. Why is it her responsibility to take care of his and his ex's dogs? Also, why would she agree to being the liaison between him and his ex-wife? We would have said a hard no to that immediately. 100% not our problem.

Some people are very patient. We are not one of those people. She let this go on for a year?? That's bonkers to us. We would have called it quits after a few days. This sounds beyond exhausting. So much unnecessary drama. We're all for staying friends with exes if it's relevant, but it certainly isn't in this case.
