Today, we can easily snap up to 100 photos of our cute cat children in the space of a single day, and still not look at the pictures. But back in the days of early film cameras, it was one shot that you would be stuck with (and treasure) forever.

• Now this is one heck of a regal catto. A prince of paws, a King or Queen of Kittens. Also, it is nice to know that it is not a recent development that people pampered their feline fur babies. Otherwise we would have to take a long hard look at ourselves to figure out what happened in the time since then.
