Runt Mouse Gets Rescued From the Floor of a Bodega, Becomes a Rodent-Lover's Pocket Best Friend (VIDEO)

It may not be a popular opinion, but whenever I see a mouse, rat, or chipmunk out in the world, I secretly imagine myself in my Disney princess era, scooping up the lil' furball and bringing them home with me in my pocket. A rodent would be the perfect pocket bestie and it may be childishly hopeful to imagine getting away without any tiny bite marks from your newfound pet, but a girl can dream, right? 

However, the bodega shopper in this next video went viral, living out all of our secret fantasies to bring home an awwdorable pocketful of mousey cuteness after rescuing the little guy from certain demise. At first, they noticed the little runt scuttling between aisles, no doubt scouting for lose grains or a carelessly opened package to snack on, but it was this little round furball's lucky day when the gracious shopper took them under their wing. 

With comradery on their mind and a little cheese in hand, an adorable friendship was born!
