Pickles make the world good… which is why it's only right to dedicate an entire article to the sweet and sour delicacies.
Enjoyers of the pickle genre understand that sometimes, growing up, the last thing you wanted was to eat a pickle. No matter a spear, nor a pickle chip—the acidic taste of the vinegary goodness on your youthful tongue was simply too much to bear. As you grew, though… You started to become curious. Why is it that a pickle's taste infiltrates every other ingredient on a sandwich or burger? Similar to a cantaloupe in a fruit salad, it finds its way into every bite, regardless of its presence on your fork or knife. That's because pickles are one of a kind.
In our adult years, we finally allow ourselves to enjoy a pickle the way it should be eaten—alone. This is a hot take, but it's one I will stand by. Companies sell gigantic jars for your snacking pleasure, and allow you to utilize the delicious pickle juice for… other reasons.
This is all to say, pickle enjoyers, you're finally home. We've been waiting for you. Grab a pickle, or the entire jar, and sit back before the pickle memes of the century.
