37 Eerie Snapshots of Abandoned Malls Where We Want to Play the Creepiest Game of Hide-and-Seek

When was the last time that you played hide-and-seek? You were probably in elementary or middle school – at least for your last proper game. It's a is a lot easier to play when you can actually fit into small spaces. Not only did it get harder to squeeze into tight corners as you grew up, but you likely memorized all of the best hiding spots in you and your friends' houses. Perhaps as a teenager or young adult you played one of the creepier versions of the game; I once hid from my friends in a dark forest, fleeing from the seeker's flashlight.

One of my dream birthday parties is to rent out a big, spooky mansion and play hide-and-seek with a flash camera. This, however, requires funds. If things don't work out for me financially, I guess I could always sneak into one of the abandoned malls pictured below and live out my dreams!

This creepy carousel apparently exists in an abandoned mall in Mexico. I've never been to Mexico, but when I saw this image, I seem to have formed a fake memory in this place. I remember losing a Sonic the Hedgehog plush toy here as a very small child, and my parents let me get on this carousel to cheer me up…
