Disney adult, Amy, confronts friend after they tell her going to Disney is ‘not something they'd spend money on', friend refuses to apologize: ‘It's not like you're any better than me'

This might be a hot take, but Disney adults are overhated.

Even though I love Disney, I would not call myself a Disney adult. I love the movies, the songs, and yes, even the parks, but I am far from making that my entire personality. I also have nothing against Disney adults and have no problem with letting them do their thing as long as it makes them happy. Why should I care what they spend their money on, or how many Mickey Mouse ears they have in their closet (or displayed in their living room, if we're being more accurate)?

The only reason I believe it is justified to judge a Disney adult is if they do it first. It's perfectly okay for a 30-year-old adult to love cartoons and princesses singing, but it's weird when that is not someone's cup of tea? That is when I lose my respect, and it seems like the exact same thing happened in the friend group in the story below.

Regardless of how you like to spend your vacations, you should always treat people with respect, which is something that was lacking in both sides of this story.
