'Enjoy your holiday and don't bother coming back': 15+ Bosses who got to tell their least-favorite employees, "You're fired"

There are some things that you just cannot do when you're an employee. Some of these seem fairly obvious. You can't demand that customers give you a tip, for example. You can't call clients names (well, not to their faces, anyway). You can't make massive mistakes and then try to hide them from the higher-ups. And these are the kinds of mistakes that leave managers with no choice but to tell an employee, "Sorry, you've got to go."

Some of the managers below who shared stories were firing their least-favorite worker. A few of these employees were basically useless: coming in late, arguing when asked to do their daily tasks, or constantly irritating customers. Other managers expressed that they'd miss the employees they had to fire, or that they felt bad for letting them go so abruptly, but there's only so much coaching and PIP-ing you can do before it's time for that employee to find employment elsewhere.
