To err is to be human. What are we, clankers? That's a word I recently learned that is apparently used to denigrate robots. But robots, by design, don't make mistakes. They can only be programmed wrong. Flaws? Things going south? That's all us, baby. In this era of encroaching robot rule, it's important to hold on to the things that make us human. It will protect us in the long run. And failure is a huge part of that. You may think that typo you just made makes you look unintelligent, but it actually just makes you look human.

And you are human, so that's nothing to be ashamed of, okay? No matter what these robot freaks try to tell you. So part of that embracing can mean not hiding the times you messed up. You should wear them on your sleeve, just like the people responsible for these photos.

These photos are all about failure. Failure to spell-check, failure to measure twice and cut once, and general failure to think things through.
