'I made the mistake of giving 6 months notice': Entitled manager forgets to hire new employee, spends 4 months doing double the workload

It's amazing how far some folks can get in the world without any common sense. It really baffles the mind! There are some workplaces where you can work very hard and achieve great things… all while your manager is the dimmest person you've ever met, and can't get anything right, yet they still make 15x your salary. You find yourself thinking that you'd be a much better person to have in charge as you help that manager rotate a PDF. You watch as they make mistake after mistake, and then just blame it on the exact same employees who warned them about that mistake in the first place. It's maddening, to be sure, and this person has a story about the incredible incompetence they witnessed from their own boss.

This is a perfect example of not worrying about things that are above your pay grade. Plus, if you're leaving a workplace to begin with, why would you need to care about what happens there next? You'll be long gone, making a nicer salary somewhere else, and hopefully never worrying about your prior boss ever again.
