Employee files HR complaint for not being invited to a co-worker she barely know's wedding, HR laughs and immediately closes the case: ‘Some people really do think they’re the main character.’

Many people are opting for a small wedding these days due to how expensive throwing that big of a shindig cost. That is why when this bride threw her wedding, she didn't invite any of her co-workers because she was not that close to her. Sure, she had one workplace buddy who she would yap with on occasion, but they never hung out outside of the office or even talked off hours. And yet, when this co-worker found out she wasn't invited to the wedding, she was so upset, that she filed an HR report… Like, pardon? HR does not handle personal matters that have nothing to do with your job.

Obviously, HR simply rolled their eyes and closed the case, but the entitlement of this co-worker still lingers on.

Now, this bride has to deal with a snarky co-worker instead of a buddy and it is driving her nuts. Many people online are advising she actually turn the tables on this Karen and report her to HR for creating an unsafe work environment. Is it worth all the paperwork though?

Seriously, though, who does that woman think she is? Weddings are expensive and meant to be a shared moment between loved ones, not random co-workers… This woman reeks of extreme entitlement.
