    Entitled barista refuses to give customer bagel because it's on the kid's menu, customer gets even by DoorDashing it and picking it up to spite her: 'Don’t want to sell me a bagel? Bet.'

    Who knew that DoorDash could be useful in such an unexpected way? Most folks use your standard delivery services because they're too lazy to get up from the couch and cook the healthy vegetable-filled meal they planned in advance and even went grocery shopping for already.

    However, in this instance, we have a customer at a coffee shop whose friend cleverly decided that they could use DoorDash to get even with their entitled barista. All this customer wanted was a bagel. Yes, said bagel just so happened to be on the kid's menu. And yes, said customer was a fully grown adult. Who knew that bagels would be such an age-specific food item? 

    Apparently, this barista was too good of an employee and refused to let the customer get their beloved toasted sesame seed bagel with cream cheese simply because the customer was over the age of 21. That's when the author's friend came up with a plan for vengeance.

    • She proceeds to put in a DoorDash order for one bagel to be picked up. We keep an eye on the counter and sure enough, I see the bagel ready to be picked up.

    • I approach the counter and ever-so-kindly ask for my DoorDash order for <Name>. The same barista tosses the bagged bagel at me without saying a word and walks away.
