Cats are totally overpowered for their modern-day jobs of lazing around, looking cute, and receiving endless gifts of treats and affection. Like, there really is little reason for the night vision, the acrobatics, and the super pointy nails and teeth. We love them just the way they are, though, and it would be terrible to expect them to change just for further validation from human beings.
