    Entitled mother drops 7-year-old kids off at neighbor's apartment, demands that she take care of them because she works remotely: 'You’re home all day. It’s not like you’re doing anything important'

    Can you imagine the audacity of this lady? We empathize with the experiences of single parents. There's so much to juggle. You're balancing the needs of your children with the commitments of work in order to earn money to support those children. It can often feel like a doomed catch-22. We should all extend gratitude and generosity to all the single parents just trying to make it work.

    However, this entitled mother took things a bit too far. Once she learned that the author, who lived next door, worked remotely, this lady repeatedly tried to get the author to babysit for her two kids, both of whom are rowdy and around seven years old or younger. She didn't take the hint after the author tried to explain why this was an inconvenience. After all, she might be working remotely, but she's still working!
