Um…. if your dogs are chewing wires underneath your fridge, we think that's a pretty clear sign that something isn't right. We've owned and lived with dogs our entire lives. Everything from purebred golden retrievers to scared rescues. None of them have ever chewed cables underneath the fridge. Ever.

Boundary was set. Mom ignored the boundary. Mom faces consequences. It's very simple. We're not sure what was “too harsh” about it - the only reason she probably took it so hard is because she knew she was wrong. The only thing that will improve this situation is dog training.
