This might be the saddest part of it all. We think that if the mother ever came across this, if she knew that her daughter truly believed that the mother would choose the dogs over her own children… she would change her ways. At least that is what we hope.

It is entirely fair to ask the mother to not bring her dogs if she cannot control them, but we have to say that we understand her bring upset about it when other dogs are allowed. We would consider, again, making this a pet-free vacation for the family.
