Every relationship looks picture-perfect online. Couples curate their posts to show off their perfect romance to the world. Some show off with flowers or jewelry, while others are always posting about their travels or their perfect children. That's why it can be a total surprise when that same couple posts that they're going to be ending the relationship. They made it seem like everything was fine online, but in real life, things were much more complex.
Plus, with the importance of social media, some people have expectations that are way too high for their own boyfriends or girlfriends. If you scroll for too long online, you might start getting upset that your partner isn't getting you dozens of roses every day or waking you up with a massive breakfast in bed every Saturday. There are also countless relationship "tests" that you can perform on your significant other. But just because you can do that, doesn't mean it's a healthy thing to do. It was a total dealbreaker for this person, and I don't blame him for calling his GF's bluff when she played ridiculous games with his head.
