It'd be a great world to live in if nobody played favorites, especially when it comes to family. Sure, we can choose our family and be born into it, too, but the bond you feel with others should not reflect the way that you treat them—this goes without saying, especially for children. What would a child have done to deserve mistreatment from someone who is supposed to love and nurture them? In what world would this be a reasonable way to act, especially coming from an adult?
This type of behavior is not uncommon when we're thinking about in-laws, specifically grandparents and parent-in-laws, and the way they view some children. They might dislike their son or daughter's spouse, and the kid that they have together will be cursed by a life of impolite behavior because of this. One might ask themselves, "How childish do you have to be to take your anger out on a kid?" Well, the answer is "very."
In this next story, you'll see what a real Mama bear looks like. You can dislike them, but they draw the line at their child. A woman's mother-in-law singles out her daughter when she gives gifts to her biological daughter's kids, and tries out a lame excuse to hide her impolite nature. Scroll below to read the full story.
