Look, I refuse to believe that any trained interior designer willingly made these baffling design choices. No way. What I do believe is that they presented a perfectly reasonable floor plan, and the client said something like, "Ok, but I really want a terrace." And the architect calmly replied, "Well, according to zoning laws and safety regulations…" only to hear, "I don't care, just make it happen." So they did. They built a terrace that looks like a terrace from the outside - but you can't access it from inside the house. Technically legal. Definitely cursed.
Or the client says, "I don't like how all the windows line up. Can you make some of them weird and diagonal?" And the designer just stares into the void, sighs deeply, and says, "Sure… whatever."
