Doggo gets invited on the Today Show after his howlarious adoption post goes viral, describing him as 'a sentient middle finger wrapped in a cloud of fur'

With more and more dogs than ever needing homes, animal fam, rescue and adoption agencies are having to get creative to get people to come and see their pooches looking for furrever homes. Some of our furvorite tactics so far are giving their furry friends ridiculous names, such as 'Chappurr Roan' and making ridiculous TikToks of them that follow pawfectly hilarious trends. However, one shelter has taken a different approach, and it paid off.

They took one of their most difficult doggos, 'Igor', and described him as 'a cursed Victorian child masquerading as a 10lb stuffed animal'. Their doggone dastardly description of him went viral online, and Igor even got invited to be on the Today Show, where he was thankfully on his best behavior. However, as soon as the cameras stopped rolling, he apparently turned back into the possessed gremlin we've fallen in love with. He doesn't look so evil… but then again, looks can be deceiving. Take Willy Wonka, fur example. He seems like a jolly candyman, but then he lets children fall into sugar rivers and turn into blueberry balloons. No bueno. No bueno, indeed.

It seems as though the only peace and quiet you'll get with Igor in your house is when his batteries run out and he falls asleep. Best to let him get it all out for your own safety. Maybe keep a healthy supply of voodoo dolls for him to terrorize when he's feeling extra evil.
