Well, it is true, for every farmer who ever dreamed of feeling the wind blowing through their hair while ploughing a field or moving heavy machinery from one place to another, there was a solution. However, it seems like the farmers of 1938 were not all too impressed with the concept seeing as it has not made it to the modern era.

People of the past got up to some pretty unhinged things, it seems. We cannot imagine, at least in today’s landscape, that anyone would be willing to attend a lunch in which it is unclear whether they will be eating lunch, or whether they will be someone else’s lunch. It is a heavy price to pay, especially if you are already paying for the meal.
