Birthday celebrant insists no one give them books as a present, instructs well-wishers how to gift money: 'It's my birthday...Today I will accept cash'

Figuring out a birthday gift can be hard… You may as well give cash! That's how some people see it, at least. A nicely written card stuffed with some bills is the kind of gift that most people really appreciate. Others prefer actual presents that come from the heart (for example, your Mom might not appreciate getting cash, but she'd be much happier with a gift of her favorite book or a new plant for her garden). Some people just want heartfelt items instead of cash, and it totally varies from person to person. 

However, some people are just rather picky. This person is doing some "woe is me" style whining on their birthday. Instead of just relaxing and celebrating with friends and family, they're bemoaning the day they were "brought into this horrible world." Like they aren't wrong, but don't they have any gratitude for the one day each year where everyone is supposed to celebrate them? They start off their birthday paragraph by negging their followers, and the message just gets more bizarre from there. 

You can read this person's whiny birthday plea below. Commenters thought the whole message was tone-deaf and puzzling. I can't imagine they got many birthday well-wishes after pulling that stunt, but who knows, maybe they did actually receive their cash infusion after all.
