'He let me grab him and was just so afraid': Man rescues tiny terrified kitten that was thrown out of a car on the highway, and the drivers around him surprise by being kind and patiently waiting while he was gently approaching the kitten

One of the things that we love the most about writing for ICHC is that we get to see the best of humanity on a daily basis. We get to see stories of people helping cats, of people saving cats, of people giving cats a second chance at life… just because. Because it's the right thing to do, because they are simply good people who care. But sometimes, for the good people to shine, the bad people need to have their time in the spotlight as well, and the person who threw this kitten out of a car and left it on the highway is definitely one of the bad ones.

It's lucky that this person was out there in time to rescue this kitten, but it is not luck that he did. That was a choice. And it was also the choice of the cars behind him to give this man the time to do what was right and save this little fluffball. There are lots of people out there who are good. It is simply our job to give them the spotlight they deserve and encourage more people to do the same.

The cruelty that some people have in their hearts… we will never not be shocked by it. There are so many other options before tossing a cat out of a car. Endless options. And every single one of them would have been better. The only good thing that came out of it was you finding him and giving him the furrever home he actually deserves.

We can already tell, just by these few pictures that you have shows, that this kitty is going to be an absolute troublemaker. And he's probably not even going to do these things on purpose.
