I saw Disney-Pixar's Elio last weekend, and it was pretty cute! For fans of the first 20 years of Pixar output, "cute" isn't going to cut it. I don't want to be one of those delusional people who think that every kids' movie that came out when I was a child is awesome, and every kids' movie that has come out since is trash. But you've got to admit that Pixar is not churning out classics like it used to. After all, the ideas for Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, and WALL-E were all brainstormed during one meeting in 1994. You can't have a run like that indefinitely, and the past 10 years of Pixar releases prove that. I think the last great Pixar film was Coco, and ever since, there have been a couple of wins and a lot of losses. If you care more about the wins than the losses, these Disney memes are as pro-Disney as you can get!
