It's a bird! It's a plane! No, wait—it really is a bird.
I don't birdwatch. Never have, not because I don't want to, but because I've never thought to. Realistically, there are so many different types of birds, and I've always been bad at "spot the difference" games. I probably would write off all of the feathery friends as sparrows or hummingbirds…
But birds are awesome. They're mysterious yet beautiful, and seem like they know something we hoomans don't. So much so that Alfred Hitchcock wrote a movie about them, but I wouldn't suggest you watch it before a trip to the bird sanctuary.
They're also total goofballs—the winged raccoons of the animal kingdom. If you've ever met a pigeon, you know that they are the trash pandas of any cityscape. And, we love them just the same. The derpy birdies are most fun while you're sipping your coffee in the morning, possibly on a porch, most likely on a cool autumn morning. Since we can't offer you that setting, I guess you'll have to settle for these bubbly bird memes while you sit in front of your air conditioner…
