Couple excitedly announces that they bought a home, distant cousin they haven't spoken to in years demands they let her stay in the guest room for free: ‘Some people only act like family when it’s convenient.’

• The couple were very excited of their achievement in becoming homeowners and they posted about it on Facebook. They wanted to share their happiness with their friends and family. Thinking they would just get likes and congratulations, they were not prepared for the wife's distant cousin to slide into their DMs. 

   

  This freeloading cousin demanded they let her stay in their spare room for an indefinite amount of time and completely for free. The couple were not having it, because like, who would?! But this cousin really tried to through the family thing in their face. Luckily, these new homeowners new better.
