    24 Throwbacks to When You Were a Cool 80s Kid

    Ok, chances that you were a cool 80s kid are very slim, at least if you are going by the levels of cool that kids achieve today. Because in the 80s, and pretty much through the 90s, us kids were basically seamstress dolls for the myriad of neighborhood hand-me-downs that got passed around the community. Essentially making every child a random assortment of the local fashion choices, which to begin with were nothing to be proud off. But you know what, we did make the best of it.

    We played outside with no rules or limitations, we used our imaginations on a daily basis to defeat monsters and save princesses. We lived our childhoods with the freedom and curiosity that a child deserves to have. And when all is said and done, we may not have looked or technically been cool, but in our on minds we were the coolest kids. So enjoy this trip down memory lane as we buzz through the 1980s.

    • Not going to lie, this is making us consider setting up summer camps for families who want to live like they did in the 80s. No mobile phones, no internet, music can only be played from a boom box. Movies are displayed exclusively at the camp’s private drive in cinema and the lake has absolutely no lifeguard to ruin the fun when things get good.
