Getting into a new relationship is very exciting—until they show all the red flag signs that reveal they aren't as crazy about fur babies as you are. This is a nightmare situation for pawrents who basically birthed their fur children; if your partner doesn't accept Fido and his furry belly, then you aren't expecting them, period.

First, it's a red flag if your partner dislikes something or someone you absolutely adore. Second, dog people (and animal people in general) have a very different lifestyle from those who do not. When choosing a hooman life partner, you have to make sure you're finding common ground on the stuff that matters. In this case, that is giving a yapping pupper all the belly rubs he wants and giving him as much attention as needed.
