Seriously, it is so sad that this is the reality in our rescue shelters. Sure in this particular case there was a silver lining, but in so many others there isn’t. They really should start a segment on the nightly news about local animals in need of adoption. That is far more newsworthy than what Kim Kardashian got up to.

Honestly we are all so lucky that good people like this woman exist in the world. The kinds of people who look before they leap into a situation where someone needs their help. Because when you truly love something, it does not matter how you help, it only matters that you do.
