A dress is a dress after all, so if you get multiple, insistent blessings from a bride to wear your old wedding dress to her wedding, why would you disagree? This family in our next story is from India, a culture in which the bride has multiple outfit changes, a huge wedding, and a big to-do for her nuptials. Understandably, this can all be a bit overwhelming, but not so much so that it becomes okay to tell your cousin to wear her wedding dress on your big day and then gaslight her, humiliate her, and rake her over the coals in front of the whole family.
But as family drama always is, this wedding day beef got a whole lot spicier than the chicken curry served up at cocktail hour.
