Possibly one of the pioneers of the blended family sitcom, The Family Tree ran for one glorious season of 6 episodes. And yes while that is not the longest run, it was nice to see different types of families represented on our television screens. No doubt a fan favorite amongst children of divorce to whom it offered great comfort.

A very interesting prequel to what would later become Fairly Odd Parents on Nickelodeon. So in a sense, while Nearly Departed only ran for one season which got cut short. It still sort of got its comeback several years later in the form of a cartoon. So overall a rather happy ending here.
