Cars, with their relatively short life span, really do face some of the worst outcomes when it comes to being abandoned. Too large to put in a storage box, yet too precious to send to the junkyard, they are items that live close to our hearts, yet are far too cumbersome to remain in our lives once they have had their day. Often left to rot and rust in an abandoned barn, never to be thought of again.

Well, well, a true piece of American muscle history right here. A 70s era Pontiac Firebird left to rot in an abandoned barn. Sort of the way our memories do in our minds. It is just a shame that this legend of the road will likely not get to be pushed to its racing limits ever again.

Now, this is one car that played cops and robbers more than any other. It is the Jaguar Mark 2, released in the late 50s. A nimble yet powerful car that held a reputation for elegance and speed and was revered by many due to its appearances in British television and films.
