We just bought a new TV. And not just any TV - I'm talking 85-inch, 4K, HDR, the whole nine yards. We went all in and bought the screen of our dreams. And you know what that means: a brand new excuse for a Lord of the Rings marathon.

I just finished watching The Fellowship of the Ring last night and oh my god does it look good. It's the 4K HDR extended edition re-re-re-re-release - I've honestly lost count at this point - but what matters is that it looks absolutely incredible on a giant screen. And, as always, I sat down thinking I'd just watch a scene or two and ended up glued to the couch for the full three hours like it was my first time seeing it.
