Coming to terms with losing a loved one is difficult for anybody, let alone a young boy who has just lost their mother. In between the periods of grief, you find moments of peace with the loved ones who are still around. Though nobody can ever replace the loss that comes with losing a parent, it can come as close as you let it get. However, no loved one should try to replace the loved ones lost. That's tone deaf, and quite frankly, something that is completely unattainable. If anything, they might be straining the relationship further, and in the end, can sever it completely.
In this next story, a 17-year-old boy refuses to allow his stepmom to adopt him. After his refusal, his stepmom starts acting out, which leads him to act out.
