I don't even know how to emotionally process the fact that Spaceballs 2 is actually happening. After 37 years, we're finally getting The Schwartz Awakens - and somehow, somehow, Rick Moranis is back as Dark Helmet. I missed him so much. He's one of my all-time favorite comedic legends, and seeing him suit up again? Pure joy. Also, yes, Bill Pullman is back as Lone Star, and I'm already pre-laughing at them making fun of old Harrison Ford reluctantly returning as Han Solo.
But let's be real: Mel Brooks is going to be 100 when this movie comes out. One hundred. The man is a living comedy Jedi Master (Definitely deserves that rank) , and I need this movie to be good. (Especially after History of the World, Part II, which… yeah, we don't talk about that.)
