Happy Tuesday, Star Trek fans. We are now just one month away from the premiere of season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and we're all more than ready. I'm not sure about you all, but I feel like a completely different person than I was when the last episode aired in August 2023. It truly is about time they get on with it.

Showrunner Akiva Goldsman recently revealed that they had wanted to do a crossover with the 1970s show Star Trek: The Animated Series, which hasn't yet come to pass, but might still happen someday.

"We really wanted to do a The Animated Series episode, and for a bunch of reasons we couldn't quite get there. We haven't done a straight animated episode and I don't think we will. Whether it would break the show or not I don't know. Probably not. It's hard to know what would break it."

I would love to see a The Animated Series crossover episode, but who knows what the future will bring! Who knows if season 3 of Strange New Worlds will even be worth watching? All I know for sure is that these Star Trek memes are here to entertain you today.
