Another week, another level up in the game of parenting—and what a game it is! One second you're awwing and cooing at your newborn baby, the next minute you're wrangling in a feral toddler that makes you understand why parents put their kids on leashes. How did they get so fast, they've only existed for a few years?! We won't even get into the teen years… It's all so beautiful and chaotic and the same time. Parents who act like they've got it all figured out and raising babies is easy is lying. Straight up lying. There is a reason kids are so rambunctious and we have to love them for it. Everything is absolutely brand new to them! Plus, every part of them is growing. I mean, they can't even really see when they come out. Their brain is like, let's understand that's a hand before you see the skin pigments, pores, and blemishes. Like, all of their energy is going to that and wow that must be exciting. Remember trying anything for the first time? It's chaotic and beautiful.
