Homeowner refuses to rent out rooms in new house so his entitled friends could stay with him, friends accuse him of being stuck-up: ‘You think you're too good now’

Anyone who has ever lived with roommates has had the moment when they had to promise themselves that they will never live with roommates ever again. Even if you love the people you live with and genuinely enjoy being around them, living with other people can be quite tiring. To have the freedom of living alone and enjoy the privacy of your own home – nothing can be its match.

So we all, at one point or another, reach this breaking point where we decide that the next time we move, we move to a place of our own, and we don't share that place with anyone else. Once you do that, you can never go back to living with roommates again (unless it is a romantic partner, which is a whole different story).

But what would you do if, once you finally got your own place, a friend of yours came to you and asked to stay there with you? Do you give in and give up on your privacy? Or do you stand firm and refuse to help a friend in need?
