We can talk all we want about the winter being brutal to us, but it's only a matter of time before our electric bill starts making us regret that completely. In the winter, you can bundle up with blankets and sweaters to keep yourself warm. In the heat of the summer, however… It's impossible to remove more layers than your birthday suit. If you try, you might end up in the emergency room and possibly the psych ward.

To help prepare you for the likely sizzling summer ahead, it's important to show you exactly what you believe you're missing. Notice how I said "believe". When push comes to shove, walking outside and automatically sweating while cashing in on a third-degree sunburn doesn't seem all that nice to me. Hey, maybe I'm just a winter truther. Either way, we have to laugh through the pain Mother Nature has in store for us.

Sometimes, being indoors during a heat wave is worse than being outside. When the air conditioner isn't cranking, rooms hold disturbing amounts of heat that make you feel like you're suffocating. That's a no from me, dawg. But, being outside is also the worst. There is no good tradeoff in the summertime unless you have a nice pool. Speaking of which, anyone want to invite me to their pool?
