17-year-old son repeatedly reminds new stepmother, formerly his late mother's best friend, of her part in his father's infidelity: ‘She was supposed to be mom's best friend and she was a backstabber who cheated with my dad instead’

If you've ever lost a loved one, especially a parent or guardian—it takes a lot of time to heal that wound. You feel like a part of you is missing from itself; the sky being blue feels like a slight at you, and each bird chirping makes you wonder if the universe has set up a natural symphony simply to mock you. We hope someone out there in the void can understand our grief, but the truth is: We cannot rely on others to make us feel more whole—even our surviving parent/guardian. They might have not shared a similar sentiment with you regarding the loved one you've lost, and then it all comes crashing down on you that you've been living a lie.

This next story features a 17-year-old boy who refuses to let his stepmom and father live guilt-free after they have an affair with each other. The boy's mom passed away, but during the time before she passed, it was revealed that his father had been cheating with a woman who happened to be his mother's best friend. The teen's father brought this woman to his mother's funeral, which wasn't too alarming considering she was a “friend” to his mother. However, the boy's mom found out prior to her passing, so you'd think she'd skip out given the disrespect she'd been giving her late “friend” the days leading up to her passing. Nope.
