Let's face it, since the 80s the silver screen simply has not been the same. It was the decade that introduced us to the notion that ghosts might actually exist and if they do then we had better hire Bill Murray and his buddies to come sort them out. It was the decade that inspired Spielberg to introduce us to the idea that aliens might exist, and that if they do there's a good chance that they are magical and friendly. But perhaps best of all from the 80s, is that we were blessed with the advent of the Star Wars series.

So, considering this decade's immense impression upon the world of cinema, we wanted to take a moment and celebrate the celebrities that made it happen. The women and men who were our icons grown up, plastered on every wall of every teenager's bedroom. The people we hoped we would grow up to become.
