When you're a full-on geek and tell me you have a cat, I can be 99% sure you named them after a character in a fantasy series, or some other fandom-related reference. I know this with such a high level of certainty because I'm part of the statistics. I'm not special, I'm part of the 99%. While I might not be so special in my naming decisions, my cat is most probably the special-iest and adorable-iest ever. And she's named after a fantasy character, obviously.

Now, it's no secret that I love the Dragon Age games, and some of the characters there are very dear to my heart. So, naturally, when I adopted my cat, I named her Cassie.
