28-year-old mother of 5 accuses her 19-year-old sister of copying her because she chose the same college major that she did before she dropped out: 'She asked if I thought I was better than her because I’m taking her spot'

A lot of people go to college in search of an education, and come out with something else. Whether that be a couple of thousand dollars in debt, an MRS degree, or a friend named Eduardo who will co-found The Facebook with you, there's a lot more to attending university than simply acquiring a degree. The extraneous parts of college are often a big part of the appeal. There are girls who will go to the University of Alabama to rush a sorority, not get into the sorority they desired, and simply transfer to another school where the sorority scene is not so competitive. There are guys who will go to college for the sole purpose of partying as much as they can and working as little as possible. There's a reason "the college experience" is so appealing to young people, but not all extracurricular endeavors are worthwhile in the long run.

The woman in this story got in and out of college quickly. She met her much older boyfriend at a college party, and has since mothered 5 of his children. When her younger sister decided to go down the same path that she began educationally, she was strangely offended by it.
