Well, history is what it is, and this advert is most certainly showing its age. Though you have to wonder for a moment, is it the development of technology that has made us more aware of the deception going on in the world. Or is it that we humans used to be that naive that we did not believe things like this could happen.

As you might have realized by now, looking back on some of these truly does bring up a sense of warm nostalgia. While looking at others, inspires something closer to deep regret over ever having laid hands on them. And these doodads most certainly fall into the latter category. They look like the snacks you give kids to punish them for not eating enough fiber.
