    23-year-old woman with short, dyed hair kicked out of bridal party for refusing to wear a wig so that all the bridesmaids can be uniform: “[You can] support from the crows”

    Bridal party culture can be pretty intense. At one end of the spectrum, there are couples that just want to have their BFFs by their side on their special day. Maybe the bridesmaids are given a general color scheme to adhere to, but they are mostly just expected to be there for the bride-to-be leading up to and on her special day. On the other end of the spectrum, you have the bridezillas that need their bridesmaids to have a certain look and aesthetic – going as far as refusing to make long-term friends part of the bridal party for not fitting their perfect vision.

    In our story today, a young bride demands that one of her bridesmaids wear a wig for her wedding. The bridesmaid in question – our protagonist – has short, dyed hair that doesn't conform with her sister-in-law's expectations for her bridal party. However, she is on a bit of an independent streak and refuses. Now she must come to terms with attending the wedding as a guest rather than a bridesmaid.
