Cats find us in the most interesting ways possible. You can never know when it is going to happen. You can never know when you are going to get adopted by a cat. But there is one thing that you do know - whenever it happens, it is going to be the best thing in the world. And there is something else that you know - you, as the cat person, who cannot wait for the CDS to finally choose them, chances are that the person that is going to get adopted is going to be someone who says they are "not a cat person".

We don't know what it is about cats constantly choosing people who "don't like cats" as their people, but it keeps happening. And this story is no exception. No one is safe, it can happen to you anywhere, and you not being a cat person is not going to stop the cat from choosing you. In fact, it may encourage it. It's amazing how many cats choose to adopt people who don't actually want to have cats. Maybe it's something about the space and freedom that these people tend to give them, maybe they can tell that life in these houses is going to be chill. Either way, they keep doing it, and that's how they become James Gunn's cat.

Cats really do make a huge difference in our lives, whether we realize it or not. They may be less outwardly affectionate than other animals - like dogs, but they bring so much calmness, so much peace, so much pawsitive energy into our homes that we simply can't help but appreciate them.
