How is it that every time we take a picture of our friends, the angles are right, the lighting is hitting, and it's pawfectly ready to be uploaded in Instagram, and whenever they take a picture of us, we look like we just crawled out of a hole we had been hiding in for months? We know a thing or two about unflattering photos, which is why we relate to these hilariously unflattering animal photos below. Sometimes, the camera clicks at just the wrong time.

We're pawsitively sure these animals do have a good side; they're just not present in any of these pictures. However, despite showing a side of themselves they might prefer to be off the internet, we still find all of these animals absolutely adorable, and at the very least, they're giving us a reason so smile today. If even bears can have bad days, then so can we, and we can get through them all the same. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and never take a picture with only overhead lighting.

Firstly, we didn't know that elephants had that much hair. Secondly, we now know that middle parts do not work as an effective hairstyle for elephants. We do, however, think they would look quite dashing with a mullet.
