When it comes to "husband material," the Lord of the Rings saga is chock-full of some dazzling male figures.
Firstly, there's Samwise "The Brave" Gamgee—where do I even begin? He's strong, steadfast, loyal, and can cook a mean potato/rabbit stew. Simply put, this wholesome hobbit would make a fine partner in life, provided he and his full-pint hobbit friends keep their jolly storytelling to a dull roar after midnight.
Then there's Aragorn, son of Arathorn. My, my, my this King of Men can be king of my household anytime. Gorgeous and steadfast, Aragorn is one of the most positive male figures in anyone's fantasy, providing that birthright power doesn't always corrupt the hearts of Men.
Legolas is a stoic protector, Gimli is a straight talker, and even Gandalf has his zaddy moments. Truthfully, there's a lot of love to be found in the LOTR saga, yet we all know they're reserving their fancies for the Fellowship. Alas, a story about undying friendship is the answer to any woman's prayers.
